Our Process of Restoration includes:

The dimensions of existing sash windows are carefully measured and then replicated as closely as possible taking care to copy all of existing features including any decorative horns, so once the new double glazed sashes are fitted, the view from the outside of your building will be the same as it was before.

The new sashes or moving parts of the windows are made from same type of wood as the old ones.

The main frame of the window is inspected and rot and damaged wood repaired. Any bare wood is prime coated.

We replace the pulleys and sash cord with traditional wax sash cord, and adjust the weight to balance the windows.

We replace staff and parting beads. New staff and parting beads are brushed and supply draught exclusion.

We fit period window furniture including sash lift, locks and security stops.
